NASA's mission is to pioneer the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.

To do that, we have worked around the world -- and off it -- for more than 50 years, searching for answers to fundamental questions about our place in the universe. We're exploring space and discovering Earth. Join us for this exciting and important journey.

Am I the only one asking about the waste? This all amazing but we should start planning and making the necessary things to make sure that all of those stages, cores, and so on have the means to get disposed of and burned. If not, we will soon make the same mistake as earth, with our waste and pollution.

Shame on you NASA. I'm no longer rooting for you. NASA pulled some shady business. SpaceX was, and still is, the riskier option for the lander. NASA had back and forth discussions with SpaceX to negotiate price and talk about risks, but didn't bother with any of the other companies. Gov't orgs have to make it fair and this was far from fair. At Blue Origin, Lockheed, Northrop and Draper, lots of people will be affected. Peeps will lose jobs and struggle. I understand that's business, but it sucks to realize how shady a US gov't org like NASA is. I think this sums it up best: "Blue Origin was plainly prejudiced by the Agency’s failure to communicate this change in requirements,” it states, by not giving the company an opportunity to revise its proposal. “Blue Origin could have and would have taken several actions to revise its proposed approach, reduce its price to more closely align with funding available to the Agency, and/or propose schedule alternatives” if given the opportunity by NASA.

It's amazing to consider the rotation speed of Mars, it's distance away, it's revolution around the sun, the rotation of Earth at 1,000 MPH, Earth's revolution around the sun at 50,000 MPH, any obstructions that may be within the 127,000,000 miles, the 12 minutes of time it takes to send and/or receive a signal and then realize high definition footage was clearly delivered to us.

On April 13, 2029, the asteroid Apophis will pass less than 20,000 miles (32,000 kilometers) from our planet’s surface - closer than the distance of geosynchronous satellites. During that 2029 close approach, Apophis will be visible to observers on the ground in the Eastern Hemisphere without the aid of a telescope or binoculars. It’s also an unprecedented opportunity for astronomers to get a close-up view of a solar system relic that is now just a scientific curiosity and not an immediate hazard to our planet. -This is from official nasa page. NASA? This asteroid is going to pass in less than 32.000 km from planet's surface? Isn't this dangerously close?

Nasa is the greatest thing in the entire world .. But I don't get it if there is no oxygen in moon and humans can't survive out there which they proved earlier then why are they going to the moon .. isn't it a waste of money . Same goes with Mars .. I believe they should explore to other planets (not the other 6 planet as they can't support life ) so that they find out something great .. just a thought and I hope u people comment here so that I get idea regarding your thoughts and gain more knowledge .. MY BODY IS IN EARTH BUT MY HEART AND MY SOUL IS IN THE UNIVERSE .
